Following suit Kairavi, the young and agile founder of Typsy Beauty and a makeup influencer has brought her dream of creating a beauty brand which stands for quality, innovation, authenticity and inclusivity, ALIVE.

Typsy Beauty is her conceptual beauty brand that brings to foray multi-functional colour cosmetics, designed and developed using production centres across the world, whilst being 100% Indian at heart. The collection offers eyeshadow palettes, dual eyeliner + kajal, faux lashes and mini lipsticks, all encased in high-quality, premium packaging.

Kairavi's love affair with makeup started in 2016 at a time when she was struggling with depression and found solace within Youtube makeup tutorials and blogs. Inspired by the likes of Jeffree Star and Huda Kattan, Kairavi started her own blog that focused on makeup looks, trends and product reviews. The power of makeup helped Kairavi fight her personal battle with depression, and inspired her to create a safe space through Typsy – one that focuses on mental health and inclusivity. She holds a degree in Fashion Management and Beauty from London College of Fashion, and has written four children’s books. Apart from this, she is a certified makeup artist and runs her own makeup page on Instagram @typsyprincess.

Typsy Beauty strives to offer ‘better than basic’ makeup products, and build a community devoid of stereotypes and judgement.

Speaking about the brand, Kairavi says :

“I believe that makeup is my armour and I feel that there are a lot of girls (and boys) out there who agree. Through my journey with depression, I found solace in makeup. The internet gave me the courage to accept my individuality and I feel that’s a powerful message. While a multitude of brands now a days advocate natural beauty, I wanted to create a brand that said that it was okay to wear and feel good about makeup too. I sought the gap in the market and brought on an innovative line of products for makeup enthusiasts to enjoy, embrace and experiment with”.
